Job Talent is seeking skilled Body Work Panel Beaters / Painters to join its automotive and heavy equipment repair team in Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring vehicle body panels, repairing dents and surface damage, and performing high-quality automotive painting while maintaining industry standards for safety, precision, and workmanship.

BODY WORK PANEL BEATER / PAINTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in panel beating, dent repair, spray painting, and paint touch-up work on light or heavy vehicles.
• Experience repairing vehicle body damage, heavy equipment, or machinery.
• Skilled in surface preparation, sanding, filling, masking, priming, and automotive spray painting.
• Ability to identify and assess dents, scratches, uneven surfaces, panel misalignment, and coating imperfections.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as straight edges, thickness gauges, calipers, and inspection equipment.
• Experience using spray guns and paint booths is an advantage.
• Technical/Vocational Certificate in Auto Body Repair, Automotive Painting, or a related field.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

• Perform panel beating, dent removal, and body repair work on light and heavy vehicles.
• Repair scratches, dents, paint damage, panel misalignment, and other body defects.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, filling, masking, priming, and surface finishing before painting.
• Mix and apply automotive paints using spray guns to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Perform paint touch-ups, refinishing, and color matching to meet manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Inspect damaged panels and assess repair requirements using appropriate measuring and inspection tools.
• Operate spray booths, painting equipment, and body repair tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure repaired and painted surfaces meet quality standards and are free from defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following workplace safety procedures.
• Properly handle paints, solvents, chemicals, and other hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete repair jobs within required timelines.
