Yamama Cement Factory is seeking an experienced and responsible Power Station Shift Supervisor to oversee power generation and station operations in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced power plant or industrial professionals with strong knowledge of electrical and power generation systems, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and shift supervision.

POWER STATION SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in power station, power plant, electrical generation, cement manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
• Previous experience in a shift supervisory or senior power plant operations role is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution, generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Ability to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures and industrial operating standards.
• Able to work rotating shifts and in a demanding industrial environment.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, organized, and capable of supervising a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily power station operations during the assigned shift to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply.
• Monitor generators, transformers, switchgear, electrical distribution systems, control panels, and other power station equipment.
• Monitor operating parameters, electrical loads, voltage, frequency, temperature, pressure, and other critical equipment conditions.
• Coordinate with operators, electrical and mechanical maintenance teams, and other departments to ensure smooth station operations.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions, equipment faults, alarms, and breakdowns and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure power generation and distribution equipment operates within established safety and operating limits.
• Coordinate planned and emergency shutdowns, equipment startups, switching operations, and restoration procedures when required.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maintain system reliability.
• Assign duties and provide technical guidance to power station operators and shift personnel.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and reports covering equipment status, power generation, operational events, faults, maintenance activities, and other relevant information.
• Review equipment readings and operational data to identify potential problems and improve station performance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, permit-to-work systems, and company policies.
• Conduct or participate in shift safety briefings and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Respond promptly to electrical or operational emergencies and coordinate appropriate actions to protect personnel and equipment.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions throughout the power station.
• Perform other power station supervision and operational duties assigned by management.
