Yamama Cement Factory is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Machinery Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced mechanical professionals with strong knowledge of industrial equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team supervision in a cement or heavy industrial environment.
MACHINERY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in machinery maintenance supervision, industrial maintenance, cement manufacturing, or a related heavy industrial environment.
- Previous experience supervising mechanics, technicians, or industrial maintenance personnel is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and coordinate effective corrective and preventive maintenance solutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
- Able to work in a demanding industrial environment and manage multiple maintenance priorities.
- Responsible, technically capable, safety-conscious, and able to lead a maintenance team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily machinery maintenance activities to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
- Plan and oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of industrial machinery and plant equipment.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify mechanical problems, wear, damage, and potential failures.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel during repair activities.
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and other maintenance workers and assign daily tasks according to operational priorities.
- Monitor the condition and performance of crushers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, fans, mills, and other industrial machinery as required.
- Coordinate equipment shutdowns, repairs, inspections, servicing, and component replacements with plant operations.
- Review maintenance work orders, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance work are performed according to manufacturer specifications, engineering requirements, and company standards.
- Monitor the availability and proper use of spare parts, tools, lubricants, consumables, and maintenance equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and downtime.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and recommend preventive measures to improve machinery reliability and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with electrical, production, operations, and other maintenance teams to resolve equipment-related problems.
- Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained, organized, and safely operated.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, permit-to-work systems, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure maintenance personnel follow established safety and environmental procedures.
- Perform other machinery maintenance, technical, and supervisory duties assigned by management.
