Yamama Cement Factory is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to support heavy equipment and site operations in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced heavy equipment operators with strong knowledge of excavator operation, material handling, site safety, and equipment maintenance in a cement, construction, quarrying, or industrial environment.

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in a cement plant, quarry, construction, mining, or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of excavator operation, excavation, earthmoving, loading, and material handling.
• Ability to safely operate excavators and related attachments in demanding work environments.
• Knowledge of basic equipment inspection, maintenance reporting, and safe operating procedures.
• Good understanding of workplace and heavy equipment safety requirements.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a hot, dusty, and demanding industrial environment.
• Responsible, attentive, reliable, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Willing to work flexible or rotating shifts as required by the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently for excavation, loading, digging, trenching, grading, and material-handling activities.
• Perform excavation and earthmoving work according to site plans, instructions, and project requirements.
• Load, move, and transport soil, rocks, raw materials, debris, and other materials using the excavator.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the excavator to ensure safe and proper working condition.
• Monitor engine performance, hydraulic systems, attachments, fluid levels, and other critical equipment components.
• Operate different excavator attachments safely and correctly according to the assigned task.
• Maintain proper awareness of workers, vehicles, structures, underground utilities, and other hazards while operating equipment.
• Follow site traffic rules, equipment operating procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
• Report mechanical problems, equipment damage, abnormal operating conditions, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and routine operator-level maintenance as required.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, equipment operators, maintenance personnel, and other workers to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with site preparation, stockpile management, material loading, and other earthmoving activities when required.
• Maintain accurate equipment operation and inspection records when required.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with company safety policies.
• Maintain the excavator and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Perform other heavy equipment operation and site duties assigned by management.
