Yamama Cement Factory is seeking a reliable and technically capable Water Treatment Plant Operator to support water treatment and plant utility operations in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for industrial professionals with knowledge of water treatment processes, plant equipment operation, water quality monitoring, and workplace safety in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Water Treatment Plant Operator or similar position in an industrial, manufacturing, cement, or utility environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, filtration systems, pumps, chemical dosing, disinfection, and water quality monitoring.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and monitor water treatment equipment and systems.
• Basic knowledge of water quality testing, chemical handling, and treatment plant safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify abnormal operating conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding industrial plant environment.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and follow established plant operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water treatment plant equipment and systems to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
• Monitor water treatment processes, flow rates, pressure, chemical levels, and other operating parameters.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, filters, tanks, valves, dosing systems, pipelines, and other treatment equipment.
• Collect water samples and perform routine tests to monitor water quality and treatment performance.
• Adjust chemical dosing and operating parameters as required to maintain required water quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of filtration, clarification, disinfection, and other water treatment processes.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, leaks, abnormal readings, and process problems and report them promptly to the supervisor.
• Perform routine operator-level maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and equipment checks as required.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for preventive and corrective maintenance of water treatment equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality test results, chemical usage, equipment readings, inspections, and plant operations.
• Handle treatment chemicals safely and follow proper storage, handling, and disposal procedures.
• Ensure adequate chemical, filter, and other treatment material supplies are available for continuous plant operation.
• Follow established startup, shutdown, emergency response, and operational procedures.
• Maintain the water treatment plant, equipment, and surrounding areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow workplace safety, environmental, hygiene, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Perform other water treatment plant operation and utility-related duties assigned by management.
