Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Work Permit Receiver to support safe project execution by ensuring compliance with the project’s Permit to Work (PTW) system. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving work permits, verifying that all required safety measures are in place, and coordinating with relevant personnel to ensure work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Chemical Engineering, Engineering (Others), or a related field.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), gas testing, and safe work practices.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Experience in construction, industrial, oil and gas, or petrochemical projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Receive work permits from the Permit Issuer before the commencement of work activities.
• Ensure all required isolations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), gas testing, and other safety controls are completed prior to starting work.
• Coordinate with the Permit Issuer, Area Authority, Safety Officer, and Supervisor regarding work activities and permit requirements.
• Verify that all personnel understand the permit conditions, identified hazards, and required safety precautions.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with approved work permits and project safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, permit violations, or hazardous situations to the appropriate personnel immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of work permits and related documentation.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and risk assessments as required.
• Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and project procedures.
• Perform other duties related to the Permit to Work system as assigned by management.
