Emdad Human Resources Company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, tools, and finished products. The successful candidate will lead warehouse personnel, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and Ministry of Defense operational standards.
Warehouse Team Leader
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and stock management.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for inventory reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate or supervise the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple warehouse activities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and dispatching materials.
- Lead and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and handling of materials and equipment.
- Implement inventory control procedures such as FIFO, FEFO, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and investigate discrepancies.
- Use WMS or ERP systems to monitor inventory movements and warehouse transactions.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock reports, and other warehouse documentation.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and ensure safe handling and movement of materials.
- Supervise the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify operational problems and implement appropriate solutions.
- Train, guide, and monitor warehouse staff to maintain productivity and accuracy.
- Ensure warehouse activities support uninterrupted production and operational requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
