Upholsterer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an Upholsterer.
• College or vocational graduate (relevant training is an advantage).
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of upholstery materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
• Physically fit and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, refurbish, and install upholstery on furniture and fixtures.
• Measure, cut, sew, and fit fabric, leather, or other upholstery materials.
• Replace padding, springs, and worn-out components as needed.
• Restore and maintain furniture to required quality standards.
• Read and follow instructions, patterns, and specifications.
• Use hand tools and upholstery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper finishing, alignment, and appearance of upholstered items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
