Security Advisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in security management, law enforcement, corporate security, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Protective Services, Security Management, Law Enforcement, Criminal Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in law enforcement or corporate security operations.
• Strong knowledge of security management principles, risk assessment, and threat analysis.
• Experience in executive protection, crisis management, and emergency response planning.
• Knowledge of information security policies, electronic security systems, and physical security measures.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
• Excellent analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to remain calm during emergencies.
• Proficiency in computer systems, network security concepts, and security technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Outstanding organizational, reporting, and time management skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and valuable company assets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate security policies, procedures, and protection strategies.
• Establish and maintain intelligence networks to identify potential threats and security risks.
• Conduct internal investigations and security assessments to protect company personnel and assets.
• Safeguard executives, board members, and their immediate families from potential threats.
• Implement workplace violence prevention programs and security awareness initiatives.
• Manage executive travel security arrangements, including risk assessments, travel advisories, secure accommodations, transportation, and security personnel.
• Analyze current and emerging security threats and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
• Conduct comprehensive security studies and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide consulting support for the protection of organizational, physical, financial, and proprietary assets.
• Develop and implement physical and electronic security improvements.
• Lead crisis management and disaster response teams during emergencies and critical incidents.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret intelligence information to support security planning and decision-making.
• Oversee security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, duress systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Review facility designs, construction projects, fencing, landscaping, and physical security measures to improve site protection.
• Develop and update security operational manuals, policies, and emergency response procedures.
• Brief executives and management regarding security issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Support information security initiatives by addressing electronic threats, system vulnerabilities, privacy concerns, and business continuity requirements.
• Monitor security technologies, security platforms, and risk management systems.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, emerging threats, and security technologies.
• Participate in professional organizations, training programs, and continuing education activities.
• Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and risk prevention throughout the organization.
