TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Heavy Truck Driver.
  • Experience driving ready-mix concrete trucks is required.
  • Previous overseas (ex-abroad) work experience as a heavy truck driver is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Philippine Professional Driver’s License and a valid GCC Driver’s License.
  • Candidates must have a valid passport.
  • Good knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in varying weather and construction site conditions.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport materials to construction sites.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safe operation.
  • Deliver ready-mix concrete and other construction materials according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
  • Operate truck-mounted equipment and discharge concrete safely at designated locations.
  • Monitor the condition of the concrete during transport and ensure timely delivery to maintain product quality.
  • Follow traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, accidents, or delays to supervisors immediately.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, plant personnel, and site supervisors to ensure efficient delivery operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
  • Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other driving and transport-related duties as assigned by management.
