TRUCK DRIVER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Heavy Truck Driver.
- Experience driving ready-mix concrete trucks is required.
- Previous overseas (ex-abroad) work experience as a heavy truck driver is preferred.
- Must possess a valid Philippine Professional Driver’s License and a valid GCC Driver’s License.
- Candidates must have a valid passport.
- Good knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Physically fit and capable of working in varying weather and construction site conditions.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport materials to construction sites.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safe operation.
- Deliver ready-mix concrete and other construction materials according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Operate truck-mounted equipment and discharge concrete safely at designated locations.
- Monitor the condition of the concrete during transport and ensure timely delivery to maintain product quality.
- Follow traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, accidents, or delays to supervisors immediately.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, plant personnel, and site supervisors to ensure efficient delivery operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Comply with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other driving and transport-related duties as assigned by management.
