ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of working experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a related industrial maintenance role.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, or related engineering fields.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of motors, control systems, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial automation equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in motors, control panels, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and other industrial machinery.
- Install, test, and commission electro-mechanical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before equipment failures occur.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Assist in improving equipment reliability, efficiency, and reducing production downtime.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance checks, and equipment servicing activities.
- Replace defective components and ensure proper calibration and adjustment of equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and equipment documentation.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, maintenance standards, and company policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance programs.
