UPHOLSTERER (INSTALLER/MAKER)

Qualifications:

• Male or female candidates considered.
• Proven experience as an upholsterer, furniture maker, or installer.
• Skilled in using hand tools, sewing machines, and other upholstery equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret furniture designs, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Knowledge of different fabrics, leather, foam, and padding materials.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physically able to lift, move, and handle furniture and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, sew, and assemble upholstery materials according to specifications and designs.
• Repair, refurbish, or replace worn or damaged furniture coverings.
• Install upholstered furniture in hotel rooms, lobbies, and public areas.
• Ensure all furniture meets quality, safety, and comfort standards.
• Select and prepare appropriate fabrics, padding, springs, and other materials.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and interior teams to fulfill design and functional requirements.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and repair schedules.
