Housekeeping Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field is required.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Vocational Diploma, or Short Course Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism Management, Personal Services, Building/Ground Services, or similar fields.
  • Experience in scheduling employee shifts, monitoring attendance, training new hires, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Experience in conducting inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functional.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards, sanitation procedures, and facility maintenance practices.
  • Ability to manage teams and ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in facility and site environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across assigned facilities.
  • Schedule staff shifts, monitor attendance, and manage workforce deployment.
  • Train new housekeeping staff and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Inspect rooms, facilities, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
  • Enforce sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures across all housekeeping operations.
  • Coordinate with management regarding maintenance needs and operational concerns.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, staffing, and supply usage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and service standards.
