WAREHOUSE OFFICER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of working experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management systems.
- Familiarity with receiving, storage, dispatching, and documentation processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
- Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, materials, and supplies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor stock movement and conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
- Prepare and process material requisitions, transfers, and dispatches.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all inventory items.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records, inventory logs, and reports.
- Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, company policies, and safety standards.
- Report discrepancies, damaged items, and stock shortages to management.
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
