Logistic Officer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of working experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation, warehouse operations, and transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics-related systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Arrange shipments and ensure the timely delivery of goods, materials, and supplies.
- Track orders and monitor shipment status to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, transport providers, and internal departments regarding logistics requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, deliveries, and logistics transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and warehouse management activities.
- Prepare shipping documents, delivery records, logistics reports, and related documentation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
- Investigate and resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, and logistics issues.
- Assist in evaluating transportation costs and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, logistics procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and logistics efficiency.
