Logistic Officer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of working experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation, warehouse operations, and transportation coordination.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics-related systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Arrange shipments and ensure the timely delivery of goods, materials, and supplies.
  • Track orders and monitor shipment status to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, transport providers, and internal departments regarding logistics requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, deliveries, and logistics transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and warehouse management activities.
  • Prepare shipping documents, delivery records, logistics reports, and related documentation.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, and logistics issues.
  • Assist in evaluating transportation costs and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, logistics procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain and logistics efficiency.
