PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of working experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing procedures.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement-related systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining.
Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Process purchase requests and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, procurement records, and purchasing documentation.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing requirements and priorities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase summaries, and related documentation.
- Assist in budget monitoring and cost control initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of procurement information and company records.
