PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of working experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing procedures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement-related systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining.

Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Process purchase requests and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain and update supplier databases, procurement records, and purchasing documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements when necessary.
• Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing requirements and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Prepare procurement reports, purchase summaries, and related documentation.
• Assist in budget monitoring and cost control initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of procurement information and company records.
