SEMI-AUTOMATIC WELDER (TITP)

Qualifications:

• At least a High School graduate.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as a semi-automatic welder or in a related welding field.
• Must have a Certificate of Employment (COE) documenting relevant experience (issued not later than 2021 as required by the employer).
• Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
• Medically fit for overseas employment.
• Must be willing to undergo 3–4 months of free Japanese language training before deployment.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication, and metalworking.
• Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications is an advantage.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn Japanese work practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform semi-automatic welding on metal components according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards.
• Prepare, fit, align, and assemble metal parts before welding operations.
• Operate welding machines, hand tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded joints for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Clean, grind, and finish welded surfaces as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and proper handling of welding equipment and tools.
• Follow Japanese manufacturing procedures, workplace safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Participate in the employer’s free 3–4 months Japanese language training before deployment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Perform other welding and fabrication duties assigned by management.
