Saga Keiyu Kai Business Cooperative Association is seeking skilled Metal Painters under Japan’s Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). The successful candidate will perform surface preparation, metal painting, coating application, and finishing work on industrial and manufactured metal products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Metal Painter (TITP)

Qualifications:

• At least a High School graduate.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Metal Painter or in a related industrial painting field.
• Must have a Certificate of Employment (COE) documenting relevant work experience (issued not later than 2021 as required by the employer).
• Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
• Medically fit for overseas employment.
• Basic knowledge of industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, and spray painting equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following safety and quality procedures.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn Japanese workplace practices

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and applying primers before painting.
• Apply industrial paints, protective coatings, primers, and finishes using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other painting equipment.
• Mix paints, hardeners, and coating materials according to manufacturer specifications and production requirements.
• Inspect painted surfaces to ensure proper coverage, thickness, color consistency, and finish quality.
• Repair paint defects by sanding, repainting, and performing touch-up work as necessary.
• Operate and maintain spray booths, air compressors, spray guns, and other painting equipment safely.
• Follow production schedules and quality control procedures to meet manufacturing standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of painting equipment, workstations, and production areas.
• Properly handle paints, solvents, chemicals, and hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Comply with Japanese workplace safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Perform other painting and finishing duties assigned by management.
