TIRE AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in wheel alignment, tire servicing, and suspension inspection.
• Knowledge of camber, caster, toe, steering geometry, and vehicle alignment procedures.
• Skilled in mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires.
• Ability to inspect and identify suspension and steering issues affecting vehicle performance.
• Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in an automotive service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform wheel alignment using specialized alignment racks and equipment to adjust camber, caster, and toe according to manufacturer specifications.Inspect suspension systems, steering components, and tires for wear, damage, and defects affecting vehicle alignment and handling.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires using appropriate tire service equipment.
• Repair tire punctures and perform basic tire maintenance as required.
• Conduct pre-service and post-service vehicle inspections to ensure proper alignment and improved driving performance.
• Perform test drives before and after alignment work to verify vehicle handling, steering response, and alignment accuracy.
• Maintain alignment machines, tire equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow company procedures, manufacturer standards, and workplace safety regulations during all service activities.
