Chef De Partie

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in food preparation or restaurant kitchen operations.
• Candidates must hold a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or related fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain high standards in food production, preparation, and presentation.
• Knowledge of menu creation, portion control, and cost management in high-volume food service.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality output.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily food preparation tasks assigned by kitchen supervisors and head chefs.
• Ensure food production, preparation, and presentation meet restaurant quality standards at all times.
• Assist in menu execution and contribute to maintaining consistency in dishes.
• Monitor ingredient usage and assist in controlling food costs and waste reduction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen station.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items according to safety standards.
• Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures strictly.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders during service hours.
