Trainer (Housekeeping)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort, preferably in housekeeping operations or training.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience in delivering housekeeping or hospitality training programs is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and hotel service procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop training materials and evaluate employee performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting.
- Professional appearance with strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to company policies and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training for housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, guest room preparation, and public area maintenance.
- Develop and implement housekeeping training programs, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, use of equipment, chemical handling, and safety practices.
- Monitor trainee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure housekeeping staff comply with company standards, hygiene regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Train employees on customer service excellence and professional workplace conduct.
- Coordinate with housekeeping supervisors and management to identify training needs and improve operational performance.
- Maintain training records, attendance reports, and employee competency assessments.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation of newly hired housekeeping personnel.
- Promote continuous learning and quality improvement to maintain high housekeeping standards.
