Eram Manpower Services  is seeking qualified and experienced Scaffolders to work in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, erecting, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures used for construction, maintenance, and industrial work. Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas projects are highly preferred. The role requires strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, safe work practices, and proper handling of scaffolding materials and equipment.

SCAFFOLDER

Qualifications:

• Male, not more than 45 years old.
• Relevant work experience as a Scaffolder or in the same or a similar position.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the duties and responsibilities related to scaffolding work.
• Knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling procedures.
• Familiarity with scaffold tubes, frames, couplers, boards, platforms, braces, base plates, jacks, ladders, and related components.
• Ability to read and understand basic scaffolding drawings, layouts, measurements, and technical instructions.
• Knowledge of proper scaffold bracing, tying, leveling, anchoring, and securing methods.
• Understanding of working-at-height and fall-protection requirements.
• Ability to identify damaged or defective scaffolding components and unsafe site conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, assembling, and dismantling scaffolding materials in demanding industrial environments.
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and supervisor directives.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe and quality workmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a construction, industrial, or Oil & Gas environment.

Responsibilities:

• Erect, assemble, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to approved drawings, plans, and site requirements.
• Install scaffolding for construction, maintenance, inspection, painting, welding, and other industrial activities.
• Select and properly handle scaffold tubes, frames, couplers, boards, platforms, braces, base plates, jacks, and related components.
• Measure and prepare scaffolding materials according to the required height, width, configuration, and working conditions.
• Ensure scaffolding structures are properly leveled, aligned, braced, tied, and secured.
• Install guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, stairways, platforms, and other required safety components.
• Construct scaffolding suitable for different work areas, elevations, structures, and site conditions.
• Inspect scaffolding components before use and identify damaged, defective, or unsuitable materials.
• Conduct routine checks of erected scaffolding to ensure stability, proper assembly, and safe working condition.
• Report unsafe scaffolding conditions, damaged components, missing safety equipment, and structural concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure scaffolding platforms have adequate access, working space, and appropriate protection against falls.
• Follow approved scaffolding plans, erection procedures, method statements, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with scaffold tagging and identification procedures where required by site safety rules.
• Ensure scaffolding is erected on stable and suitable foundations and properly supported.
• Safely transport, lift, stack, and organize scaffolding materials at work areas.
• Coordinate with welders, fabricators, pipe fitters, electricians, painters, riggers, maintenance personnel, and other site workers.
• Modify or extend scaffolding structures safely when work requirements or site conditions change.
• Dismantle scaffolding systematically and safely without damaging components or surrounding structures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping around scaffolding work areas and storage locations.
• Keep scaffolding materials, tools, and equipment properly organized and protected from damage.
• Follow company safety policies, PPE requirements, fall-protection procedures, and applicable construction and Oil & Gas safety standards.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, risk assessments, and other required safety activities.
• Ensure personnel do not use incomplete, damaged, or unsafe scaffolding structures.
• Follow proper procedures when working at height and around suspended loads, machinery, and other site hazards.
• Perform other scaffolding, access, and related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
