CREATIVE VIDEOGRAPHER AND VIDEO EDITOR

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Communication, Visual Arts, Marketing, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in videography, video editing, content creation, or a related role.
• Proficient in video editing software and creative production tools.
• Strong knowledge of video production, filming techniques, editing, composition, lighting, and audio.
• Creative and capable of developing engaging visual concepts and compelling video content.
• Able to operate cameras and other professional video production equipment.
• Knowledge of video post-production techniques, including color correction, audio editing, transitions, graphics, and visual effects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality creative work.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into effective visual content.
• Must be able to provide a portfolio showcasing previous video and creative projects.
• Willing to work on location and participate in shoots, events, and other production activities as required.
• Responsible, creative, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content for marketing, promotional, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Develop creative concepts, storyboards, shot lists, and visual approaches for video projects.
• Operate cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, and other video production equipment effectively.
• Set up and adjust lighting, audio, camera angles, framing, and other technical elements during shoots.
• Capture high-quality footage while ensuring proper composition, exposure, focus, and audio quality.
• Conduct video shoots in indoor and outdoor locations, including events, promotional activities, and other assigned projects.
• Organize and manage raw video footage, photographs, audio files, project files, and other digital assets.
• Edit video footage using professional video editing software and creative production tools.
• Perform cutting, sequencing, transitions, color correction, audio enhancement, subtitles, graphics, and other post-production tasks.
• Create short-form and long-form video content suitable for social media, websites, advertisements, presentations, and other communication channels.
• Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, motion graphics, titles, captions, and visual effects as appropriate.
• Ensure that finished videos are visually engaging, technically accurate, and aligned with project requirements.
• Adapt video content into different formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and lengths for various digital platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, design, and other teams to develop creative video content.
• Coordinate with clients, colleagues, presenters, or other participants during video production activities.
• Review edited videos and make revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure all final video materials meet established quality, branding, style, and presentation standards.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of completed projects, source files, templates, and creative assets.
• Keep up to date with current videography, video editing, social media content, and digital production trends.
• Maintain and properly handle cameras, computers, editing equipment, lighting equipment, and other production tools.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues involving video, audio, lighting, and editing equipment.
• Manage multiple video projects and meet agreed deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Ensure that all content is prepared and delivered according to assigned schedules and specifications.
• Perform other videography, video editing, photography, and creative production duties assigned by management.
