Eram Manpower Services is seeking qualified and experienced Industrial Electricians to work in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas projects are highly preferred. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to follow electrical drawings, specifications, and workplace procedures.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male, not more than 45 years old.
• Relevant work experience as an Industrial Electrician or in the same or a similar position.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the duties and responsibilities related to industrial electrical work.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment, motors, control panels, distribution systems, cables, conduits, and electrical components.
• Ability to perform cable pulling, termination, glanding, wiring, and electrical connections.
• Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and basic electrical fault-finding procedures.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for industrial electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures, grounding, isolation, and safe work practices.
• Ability to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on electrical work in industrial, construction, or Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to electrical safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, approved procedures, drawings, and project specifications.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Install electrical cables, conduits, cable trays, junction boxes, panels, switches, outlets, and related components.
• Perform cable pulling, routing, termination, glanding, and connection according to approved procedures.
• Install and connect electrical equipment, motors, control panels, distribution boards, and other industrial equipment.
• Conduct electrical inspections and testing to identify faults, damaged components, loose connections, and other electrical problems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, control systems, power distribution systems, and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Test electrical installations using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Check electrical systems for proper voltage, continuity, insulation resistance, grounding, and overall operating condition.
• Repair or replace defective cables, switches, breakers, terminals, electrical components, and other equipment.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical distribution and control systems.
• Ensure proper installation and termination of cables and electrical connections.
• Perform electrical work in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and technical instructions.
• Identify electrical hazards and report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and potential risks to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with electricians, technicians, engineers, mechanical personnel, supervisors, and other project workers.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities when required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, testing results, and replaced components.
• Use electrical tools, power tools, testing instruments, and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain electrical work areas, tools, equipment, and materials in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical isolation, permit-to-work, and other applicable safety procedures when required.
• Comply with company safety policies, PPE requirements, and applicable industrial and Oil & Gas safety standards.
• Handle electrical materials, cables, tools, and equipment properly to prevent damage and workplace accidents.
• Assist with electrical modifications, upgrades, repairs, and installation of new industrial systems.
• Perform other electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
