A2Z Cycles is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Motorcycle Mechanic to join its motorcycle service and repair operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing motorcycles, with particular emphasis on Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles. The role requires strong technical knowledge of motorcycle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel injection, braking, suspension, and diagnostic procedures, as well as the ability to perform both regular and major repairs.

MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• 23–45 years old.
• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Motorcycle Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical/vocational course.
• Preferably holds TESDA NC II/NC III or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional motorcycle mechanic experience.
• Preferably has at least 2 years of hands-on experience servicing Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in engine, transmission, clutch, electrical, fuel-injection, braking, suspension, and motorcycle diagnostic systems.
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing high-displacement motorcycles.
• Knowledge and experience in Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles is highly preferred.
• Skilled in engine and transmission repair and maintenance.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable in EFI/fuel-injection systems and related diagnostics.
• Knowledgeable in motorcycle suspension and brake systems.
• Experienced in regular and major motorcycle maintenance.
• Capable of installing motorcycle parts and accessories correctly.
• Experience with performance upgrades and custom motorcycle work is an advantage.
• Preferably has previous experience working in a motorcycle workshop or dealership specializing in Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles.
• Able to use motorcycle diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and specialized workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and motorcycle safety.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work for extended periods.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a professional workshop team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, servicing, and repair of motorcycles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, and performance-related problems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct engine inspection, troubleshooting, overhaul, repair, and replacement of defective components.
• Perform engine and transmission repairs on motorcycles according to manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain motorcycle transmission and drivetrain components.
• Service and repair clutch systems, including inspection, adjustment, replacement, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and repair motorcycle electrical systems, wiring, charging systems, starting systems, lighting, and related components.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting using appropriate testing equipment.
• Diagnose, service, and repair EFI/fuel-injection systems and related components.
• Inspect and maintain fuel systems, sensors, injectors, pumps, and other fuel-delivery components.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain motorcycle braking systems, including brake pads, discs, calipers, master cylinders, and related components.
• Inspect and service motorcycle suspension systems and identify worn or defective components.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and major maintenance services as required.
• Conduct road tests or operational testing after repairs to verify motorcycle performance and safety.
• Identify abnormal noises, vibrations, handling issues, engine performance problems, and other mechanical concerns.
• Install genuine or approved motorcycle parts, accessories, and replacement components.
• Perform installation and adjustment of motorcycle accessories and aftermarket components.
• Carry out performance upgrades and custom work according to customer requirements and workshop standards.
• Work on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other high-displacement motorcycles, applying appropriate manufacturer-specific service procedures.
• Service and repair Indian motorcycles and other motorcycle models handled by the workshop.
• Inspect motorcycles before and after servicing to ensure that repairs have been completed correctly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, diagnostic equipment, and specialized motorcycle service equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts replaced, maintenance performed, and other service activities.
• Explain identified mechanical problems and recommended repairs to supervisors or customers when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe motorcycle workshop and service area.
• Properly handle oils, lubricants, batteries, cleaning products, and other workshop materials.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, company policies, and proper waste-disposal practices.
• Coordinate with other mechanics, technicians, and workshop personnel to complete repair and maintenance jobs efficiently.
• Perform other motorcycle repair, maintenance, diagnostic, and workshop duties assigned by management.
