Eram Manpower Services is seeking qualified and experienced Structural Fabricators to work in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, cutting, fitting, assembling, and finishing structural steel components for industrial and construction projects. Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas projects are highly preferred. The role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work safely while following drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

• Male, not more than 45 years old.
• Relevant work experience as a Structural Fabricator or in the same or a similar position.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the duties and responsibilities related to structural fabrication.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication, cutting, fitting, assembly, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts, measurements, and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with structural steel materials such as beams, columns, plates, channels, angles, frames, brackets, and supports.
• Ability to accurately measure, mark, cut, drill, fit, and assemble structural steel components.
• Knowledge of structural fit-up and preparation of components for welding.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication tools, grinders, drills, cutting equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physically capable of performing hands-on fabrication work in industrial, construction, and Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow drawings, technical instructions, work procedures, and project specifications.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, drill, bend, shape, and prepare structural steel materials according to required dimensions.
• Fabricate structural steel components such as beams, columns, plates, channels, angles, frames, brackets, supports, and platforms.
• Perform cutting, fitting, assembly, and preparation of structural steel components for welding and installation.
• Accurately position, align, and fit structural components according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare joints, edges, bevels, and surfaces for welding or other joining processes.
• Coordinate with structural fitters and welders to ensure proper fabrication and fit-up.
• Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, levels, squares, gauges, and other precision tools to verify dimensions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, drills, cutting equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and correctly.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, deburring, and surface preparation to achieve required fabrication quality.
• Check fabricated components for correct dimensions, angles, alignment, tolerances, and overall workmanship.
• Identify dimensional errors, material defects, fabrication problems, and other quality concerns and report them to the supervisor.
• Make necessary adjustments and corrections to fabricated structural components.
• Fabricate structural frames, supports, platforms, walkways, ladders, brackets, and other steel structures as required.
• Assist with the fabrication and preparation of structural components for transportation and site installation.
• Ensure fabricated components are properly marked, identified, and prepared for assembly or installation.
• Coordinate with welders, structural fitters, riggers, crane operators, supervisors, engineers, and other project personnel.
• Follow approved drawings, fabrication procedures, method statements, work instructions, and project specifications.
• Handle and store steel materials, fabricated components, tools, and equipment properly.
• Assist with structural repair, modification, maintenance, and installation activities when required.
• Conduct basic inspections of fabrication tools and equipment before use and report defective equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and keep the fabrication area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow company safety policies, PPE requirements, and applicable construction and Oil & Gas safety procedures.
• Minimize material waste through accurate measurement, cutting, fabrication, and proper material handling.
• Complete assigned fabrication work within required quality and project schedules.
• Perform other structural fabrication duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
