TKE ALAT Field Operations Company is seeking a highly skilled Elevator Adjuster Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, and commissioning elevators and escalators to ensure compliance with factory specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.

TECHNICIAN (ELEVATOR ADJUSTER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as an Elevator Adjuster or in a similar role.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills.
• Proficiency in electrical equipment, testing tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and installation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and adjust installed freight and passenger elevators and escalators to meet factory specifications and safety codes.
• Inspect door installations for alignment, clearance, and proper operation; adjust mechanisms as needed.
• Inspect car hoistways and mechanical installations for alignment and clearance.
• Test power consumption and monitor voltage changes of motors and motor-generator sets under varying load conditions.
• Adjust counterweights and regulate control systems to correct overload conditions.
• Inspect wiring connections, control panels, and adjust switches for proper gap and timing.
• Test and adjust safety controls such as brakes and governors.
• Adjust hydraulic systems including pump pressure, fluid levels, and power supply.
• Operate elevators to evaluate performance at different speeds and load conditions.
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of elevator systems.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and adherence to safety and installation procedures.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical layout drawings.
• Identify and resolve product quality and safety deviations.
• Submit daily timesheets and compile service reports to verify compliance with standards.
