Stellar New Zealand Ltd. is seeking experienced and technically skilled Switchboard Technical Leads for deployment to New Zealand. The successful candidate will lead switchboard design, verification, estimation, and manufacturing support activities within an industrial electrical environment.

SWITCHBOARD TECHNICAL LEAD

Qualifications:

• Must have experience in switchboard design and manufacturing.
• Confident in designing, verifying, and estimating switchboards.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, and protection devices.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
• Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and support within a switchboard manufacturing environment.
• Overseas experience related to the position is an advantage.
• IELTS or PTE passer.
• Must have good English comprehension and communication skills.
• Applicants with a high school education level may apply.

Responsibilities:

• Lead switchboard design, verification, estimation, and technical review activities.
• Prepare and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Support manufacturing teams in the assembly and production of low-voltage switchboards and electrical panels.
• Ensure switchboards comply with electrical standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical solutions for electrical and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, project managers, and production teams regarding technical requirements and project execution.
• Review material requirements, costing, and production estimates for switchboard projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to workshop and engineering personnel.
• Monitor quality control and ensure accuracy and reliability of manufactured switchboards.
• Maintain proper documentation, reports, and engineering records related to switchboard projects.
