SSW – WELDER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant welding experience.
• Proven skills in MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Knowledge of proper welding, material preparation, inspection, and finishing procedures.
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices and proper use of PPE.
• Physically fit and able to work in various industrial or workshop environments.
• Candidates must possess a valid, non-expired passport.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding to join and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine proper welding procedures and dimensions.
• Inspect, clean, and prepare metal materials and surfaces before welding.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials for each job.
• Inspect completed welds for cracks, defects, porosity, and other irregularities to ensure required quality standards are met.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded joints as required.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment problems, material defects, or quality issues to the supervisor.

• Certificate of employment (COE) (photocopy & original)
