Qaws Trading Company is now hiring for the below positions:
SERVICE CREW/WAITER
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Service Crew / Waiter.
- Experience in fast-food restaurants, particularly establishments such as Jollibee, McDonald’s, KFC, or similar food-service businesses, is required.
- Good customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Can communicate well with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Able to understand and accurately follow customer orders and workplace instructions.
- Knowledge of basic restaurant service, food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and performing service duties for extended periods.
- Good teamwork, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Able to maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Able to follow company rules, restaurant procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
- Assist customers with seating and provide menus when required.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or food preparation team.
- Serve food, beverages, and other orders promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that customer orders are complete and meet the required presentation and quality standards.
- Respond to customer requests, questions, and basic concerns in a polite and professional manner.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
- Check tables regularly and provide additional utensils, condiments, napkins, or other items as needed.
- Clear used plates, glasses, trays, and other dining materials promptly.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, service areas, and other assigned areas.
- Assist in preparing the dining or service area before opening and after closing.
- Maintain proper food-handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Follow restaurant procedures for order taking, food service, customer service, and workplace safety.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and refer unresolved concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with cash or payment-related procedures when assigned and authorized.
- Monitor table turnover and help maintain an organized and efficient service area.
- Work closely with fellow service crew members, cashiers, kitchen staff, and supervisors during busy periods.
- Maintain a professional appearance and proper personal hygiene at all times.
- Replenish service supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and other restaurant materials.
- Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of service supplies when required.
- Support the team during peak hours to ensure fast and efficient customer service.
- Follow company policies, schedules, instructions, and applicable Saudi workplace requirements.
- Perform other restaurant service and operational duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
