SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in scaffolding.
• Extensive experience in petrochemical and/or Oil & Gas industry maintenance and shutdown projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, inspection, and safety procedures.
• Experience supervising scaffolding personnel in industrial environments.
• Ability to coordinate scaffolding activities with maintenance and shutdown teams.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial and construction environments.
• Experience with SABIC affiliates in Saudi Arabia and GCC countries is highly preferred.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily scaffolding activities at project sites.
• Plan and organize scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, and inspection activities.
• Supervise scaffolders and ensure work is carried out according to approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Ensure scaffolding structures are properly erected, secured, modified, and dismantled.
• Inspect scaffolding components and work areas before and during scaffolding operations.
• Ensure scaffolds are suitable and safe for the intended work and load requirements.
• Coordinate scaffolding activities with maintenance, construction, shutdown, and other site teams.
• Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for scaffolding activities.
• Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify unsafe conditions and immediately implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules, scaffolding procedures, and applicable industry standards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate safety requirements to scaffolding personnel.
• Monitor work progress and ensure scaffolding activities are completed according to project schedules.
• Maintain records of scaffolding inspections, activities, manpower, and materials as required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, safety personnel, and project management.
• Report scaffolding-related issues, hazards, and delays to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure proper housekeeping in scaffolding work areas.
• Perform other duties related to scaffolding supervision as assigned.
