Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Scaffold Inspector to ensure that all scaffolding structures are erected, modified, inspected, and dismantled in accordance with approved safety standards and project requirements. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe working environment by conducting thorough scaffold inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Scaffold Inspector or in a similar role is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of scaffold inspection procedures, construction safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to identify scaffold defects and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
  Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Verify that scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled according to approved standards and safety procedures.
• Inspect scaffold foundations, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, braces, access ladders, and other structural components for safety and compliance.
• Conduct routine inspections before scaffolds are put into service and perform periodic inspections throughout their use.
• Identify defects, hazards, or non-compliant scaffold components and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure scaffolding complies with company policies, project specifications, and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare reports on scaffold conditions.
• Coordinate with scaffold supervisors and site personnel to ensure timely correction of identified issues.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure scaffolds are properly tagged and approved for use.
