Rotating Shop Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or related fields.
• Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment components, mechanical repair techniques, and workshop practices.
• Experience in equipment overhaul, inspection, alignment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and mechanical maintenance procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities on rotating equipment components.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment according to technical specifications.
• Conduct measurements, alignment checks, and inspections to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform maintenance work on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and related machinery.
• Use mechanical tools, precision measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the rotating equipment workshop.
• Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
