QC CIVIL SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in civil construction quality control or site supervision.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), or a related engineering field, as specified by the employer.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, quality control procedures, and inspection techniques.
• Experience supervising skilled construction workers and coordinating site activities.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
• Strong knowledge of current construction practices, technical requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and safe construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in preparing reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Physically fit and willing to work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise quality control activities for civil construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved standards.
• Inspect ongoing construction activities to verify workmanship, materials, and construction methods.
• Ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, contract requirements, and relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Supervise and coordinate skilled workers, subcontractors, and construction crews during project execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections of concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, finishing works, and other civil construction activities.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and defects, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, clients, and site supervisors to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, site records, checklists, and documentation.
• Verify that construction materials meet project specifications before installation or use.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure workers follow established safety procedures.
• Monitor project progress and report quality performance to management.
• Participate in site meetings, quality audits, and project inspections.
• Perform other duties assigned by project management.
