QA/QC SUPERVISOR – MECHANICAL (API 510)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must hold a valid API 510 Certificate.
• Preferably with experience in oil and gas, petrochemical plants, or related industrial projects.
• Proven experience in QA/QC inspection and supervision of mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of static and rotating equipment fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills when dealing with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the quality inspection team to ensure strict compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC inspectors and monitor their inspection activities throughout the project.
• Verify that the fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing of static and rotating mechanical equipment comply with approved specifications and standards.
• Review inspection results, quality documentation, test reports, and related technical records.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other project personnel regarding quality and compliance requirements.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of inspection and testing procedures in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor the quality of mechanical works and ensure all activities meet applicable industry standards and safety requirements.
• Act as the main liaison between the client and contractor regarding QA/QC matters and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and other required documentation.
• Perform other QA/QC and mechanical inspection duties as assigned.
