Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning works comply with project specifications, client requirements, applicable codes, and international quality standards.

QA/QC MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in QA/QC management within construction, industrial, or engineering projects.
• Holder of a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Examination).
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), QA/QC procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and applicable international codes and standards.
• Proven experience supervising QA/QC teams and managing quality programs for large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
• Experience in EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant, or heavy industrial construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for construction, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning works.
• Supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and quality personnel to ensure the effective implementation of quality control processes.
• Monitor project quality performance and prepare quality reports, inspection summaries, and management reports.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and inspection schedules.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, procurement, clients, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors on all quality-related matters.
• Oversee non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct quality audits, site surveillance, and management reviews to ensure compliance with project quality objectives.
• Ensure that all quality documentation, inspection records, material certificates, and test reports are properly maintained and readily available.
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to the QA/QC team while promoting a strong culture of quality throughout the project.
