GPPC Inc. is currently hiring Project Managers for deployment to Federated States of Micronesia. This opportunity is ideal for licensed construction professionals with extensive experience managing infrastructure, road, drainage, and building projects from planning through completion.
PROJECT MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Must be a Professional License Holder (Passed Board/Professional Licensure Examination)
- Proven experience in managing:
- Horizontal Road Projects
- Drainage Projects
- Building Construction Projects
- Strong knowledge of construction management, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Ability to supervise multiple project activities simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and quality standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in project reporting, cost control, and risk management
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all phases of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, execution, monitoring, and project closeout.
- Prepare and monitor project timelines, budgets, cost estimates, and progress reports.
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved plans and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and technical specifications.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and other project resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
- Review project documentation, reports, drawings, and technical submissions.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
- Ensure successful completion and handover of projects within approved budget and schedule.
