Thompson23 is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare high-quality pastries, baked goods, snacks, and other food products for large-volume food service operations. The successful candidate should have at least three years of relevant experience working with an Executive Chef or Chef in a staff canteen, factory, hotel, or restaurant environment.
The position requires experience preparing food for approximately 80–150 people, good English communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate cooking skills through a required video submission.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with an Executive Chef or Chef in a Staff canteen, Factory, Hotel, Restaurant
- Experience preparing food for 80–150 persons.
- Strong pastry and baking skills.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and food presentation.
- Physically fit and able to work extended periods in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, baked goods, desserts, and snack items.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and established food quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, mixing, portioning, and organizing materials.
- Operate ovens, mixers, baking equipment, and other kitchen tools safely.
- Monitor baking temperatures, cooking times, product consistency, and presentation.
- Prepare food in sufficient quantities for large-volume service of approximately 80–150 persons.
- Assist in preparing main dishes and snack items as required.
- Maintain consistent taste, texture, appearance, and portion sizes.
- Decorate and present pastries and desserts according to required standards.
- Check ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and prepared food.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Minimize food waste through proper preparation, portioning, and storage.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Chef, and other kitchen staff.
- Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to production schedules.
- Report ingredient shortages, equipment problems, and food quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
