Jabil Circuit Sdn. is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead test engineering activities for electronic circuit board production. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining test hardware, software, equipment, and procedures while driving continuous improvement in product quality, testing efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
The role also involves leading and developing Test Engineers, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, analyzing test data, resolving technical problems, and working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.
SENIOR TEST ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong background in test engineering, electronics manufacturing, or electronic circuit board production.
- Experience in developing and maintaining test hardware and software.
- Knowledge of electronic testing equipment, systems, and procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Experience analyzing test data and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) testing is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product quality requirements.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership, coaching, and team-development capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Test Engineers and other members of the test engineering team.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve test hardware, software, equipment, and procedures.
- Develop test engineering strategies that support business and manufacturing objectives.
- Establish and implement effective testing methods for electronic circuit boards and products.
- Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) testing activities.
- Develop test solutions that meet product specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing needs.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, defects, process issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test systems, equipment, hardware, and software.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address testing and production problems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve testing processes, product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Evaluate test equipment and recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacement when necessary.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding test requirements and technical concerns.
- Support product and process qualification activities.
- Monitor test performance and ensure test systems remain reliable and effective.
- Ensure testing activities comply with applicable quality, safety, security, and company standards.
- Support investigations into product failures and test-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and production teams.
- Promote best practices and operational excellence within the test engineering function.
