Job Location: Congo
Thomas Mining SARL is seeking a Production Operator to support raw material processing operations in its mining facility in Congo. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling ore materials, operating production equipment, conducting routine inspections, and assisting with preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient production.
PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Male, 25–35 years old.
- At least a High School graduate or equivalent.
- Flexible and willing to perform various production and operational tasks in a mining environment.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, mining, quarry, or industrial operations is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and preventive maintenance is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor in demanding work conditions.
- Strong attention to safety, teamwork, and following operational procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work shifts when required.
- Willing to work in Congo and comply with company safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the raw materials department to support daily production operations.
- Load and unload ore into crusher machines and other processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate production equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections to verify that machinery and equipment are in safe operating condition.
- Lubricate machinery and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform minor repairs and report equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Monitor equipment performance and production processes to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and production equipment.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and other production-related activities as required.
- Complete production logs, inspection records, and other operational documentation accurately.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support mining and production operations.
