Plumber

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 24–45 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Plumber.
• Practical experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage, wastewater, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and understand basic plumbing drawings and technical instructions.
• Skilled in using common plumbing hand tools, power tools, pipe-cutting tools, and related equipment.
• Ability to identify and repair leaks, blockages, faulty fittings, valves, and other plumbing issues.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual plumbing work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in various site conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a construction or maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plumbing systems in buildings, facilities, and project sites.
• Install and connect water supply, drainage, sewer, and other plumbing pipe systems.
• Install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, showers, valves, and related equipment.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, join, and install pipes according to required specifications.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, plans, and technical specifications.
• Identify leaks, blockages, damaged pipes, faulty valves, and other plumbing problems.
• Conduct inspections and testing of plumbing systems to identify faults and ensure proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Repair or replace damaged, worn, or defective pipes, fittings, valves, and plumbing components.
• Install drainage and wastewater systems and ensure proper flow and connections.
• Test newly installed or repaired plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation.
• Use plumbing hand tools, power tools, pipe-cutting equipment, and testing instruments safely and correctly.
• Follow project specifications, work instructions, and established plumbing procedures.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, HVAC technicians, construction workers, and other trades as required.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, materials, and work completed where required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Properly handle plumbing materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report major plumbing defects, equipment problems, material shortages, and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform other plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and construction duties as assigned.
