Pipe Welder

Qualifications:

• High school graduate / TESDA vocational graduate
• Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship
• AWS certification
• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder
• Working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards
• Knowledge and experience with welding equipment and processes
• Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret schematics
• Good communication skills
• Physical dexterity
• With valid NC II

Responsibilities:

• Determine required tools, materials, and welding methods
• Assemble, install, and repair pipe components and systems according to specifications
• Inspect materials, equipment, and tools
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and tools
• Prepare working materials (clamping, cutting, or applying chemical solutions to piping)
• Examine completed welds to ensure they are defect-free and functional
• Observe safety regulations
