Al Yamama Company is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Overall Electrical Engineer to supervise electrical maintenance operations at Saudi Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, testing, technical reporting, and site activities while providing technical guidance to maintenance teams. Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering are encouraged to apply.
OVERALL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance.
- Experience in facility maintenance, oil and gas, or Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and work scopes.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, and industrial engineering principles.
- Knowledge of applicable United States Building Codes is preferred.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise and guide maintenance personnel.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily electrical maintenance activities at Saudi Aramco facilities.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting activities and identify the causes of electrical system failures.
- Conduct and supervise electrical inspections, testing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Guide and provide technical direction to electrical maintenance teams during site activities.
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare and interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications to facilitate work assignments.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance reports, inspection records, and other required documentation.
- Develop work scopes for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Coordinate electrical maintenance work with mechanical, civil, and other engineering teams.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety standards, project specifications, and engineering requirements.
- Support the planning and execution of maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect completed electrical work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in identifying required materials, tools, equipment, and manpower for maintenance activities.
- Monitor site activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved procedures.
- Provide technical recommendations to management regarding electrical systems and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of electrical maintenance activities.
- Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.
