Bukannan Furniture Factory Co. is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Carpet Fixers to perform carpet installation, repair, and maintenance work in Bahrain. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing carpets while ensuring high-quality workmanship, proper use of installation materials and tools, and compliance with safety standards. Applicants with at least 3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

CARPET FIXER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience as a Carpet Fixer or in a similar carpet installation role is preferred.
• Male applicants are preferred.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Basic knowledge of carpet types, adhesives, tools, and installation techniques.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install carpets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling carpets and materials.
• Able to perform prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and other physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain established quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and responsible.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, replace, and maintain carpets according to project specifications.
• Measure areas accurately and calculate the required carpet materials.
• Cut and fit carpets precisely for standard layouts, rooms, and custom designs.
• Prepare surfaces before installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives.
• Position and secure carpets properly to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
• Ensure carpet joints, seams, edges, and borders are neat and properly finished.
• Remove old carpets and dispose of waste materials according to safety and environmental procedures.
• Inspect completed installations for defects, uneven surfaces, loose edges, or other quality issues.
• Make necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Safely operate and maintain carpet installation tools and equipment.
• Monitor the use of materials and report additional requirements to the supervisor.
• Report delays, damaged materials, installation problems, or other concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling practices.
• Provide courteous assistance and professional interaction with customers when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, coworkers, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform other carpet installation and maintenance duties as assigned.
