QA/QC ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction, industrial, or facility maintenance projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and other international building, mechanical, and electrical codes.
• Ability to perform detailed inspections and evaluate workmanship and materials for compliance with project specifications and approved standards.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction or maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection procedures.
• ISO Quality Management or Quality Control certifications are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for construction, maintenance, and facility projects.
• Conduct inspections of electrical, mechanical, civil, and building works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes.
• Interpret and apply the International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and other relevant international engineering standards.
• Perform material inspections and workmanship evaluations to verify compliance with quality requirements and approved construction practices.
• Identify non-conformances, prepare inspection reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor project activities to ensure work is completed according to project schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring to support timely project completion.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, material certifications, and project documentation.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
