Master Cutter/Sample Maker
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Master Cutter or Sample Maker.
- Candidates must hold a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Tailoring, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making.
- Proficiency in fabric cutting techniques and sample garment creation.
- High attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow design specifications accurately.
- Physically fit and capable of handling tailoring work requirements.
- Must have a passport valid for at least 2 years.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate garment cutting based on approved patterns and design specifications.
- Develop sample garments and ensure proper fit, style, and construction quality.
- Apply knowledge of garment construction techniques in creating finished apparel pieces.
- Interpret sketches, designs, and technical specifications for production.
- Ensure precise measurement, marking, and cutting of fabric materials.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and finishing quality.
- Collaborate with designers and tailors to achieve desired garment outcomes.
- Adjust patterns and make necessary corrections to improve fit and design.
- Ensure efficient use of fabric while minimizing waste during cutting processes.
- Maintain tools, cutting equipment, and workspace in clean and organized condition.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with modern tailoring techniques and fashion trends.
