Styro Artist

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of working experience as a Styro Artist, Sculptor, or related artistic profession.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Specialized skills in fine arts, drafting, drawing, carving, or sculpturing.
  • Proficient in styrofoam carving and styrofoam sculpturing techniques.
  • Ability to create molds and apply various hard coating materials to finished sculptures.
  • Creative and artistic with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret design concepts, drawings, and artistic requirements.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, carving tools, and sculpting equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to work in Kuwait.

Responsibilities:

  • Create artistic designs, sculptures, displays, and decorative structures using styrofoam and related materials.
  • Perform styrofoam carving, sculpturing, and fabrication according to project specifications and design concepts
  • Develop artistic concepts, models, and prototypes for various projects.
  • Create molds and patterns for sculptures, decorative pieces, and display structures.
  • Apply different hard coating materials and finishing techniques to completed sculptures and artwork.
  • Use hand tools, cutting equipment, and sculpting tools to shape and refine styrofoam materials.
  • Interpret sketches, drawings, layouts, and design instructions to produce accurate artistic works.
  • Perform detailing, texturing, painting, and finishing of completed pieces.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and artistic standards.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Coordinate with designers, supervisors, and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures when handling tools, coatings, and finishing materials.
