MANUFACTURING OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Science or a related discipline, such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Vocational course graduates or TESDA-certified candidates may also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience operating manufacturing or pharmaceutical production equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and production procedures.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an advantage.
- Ability to follow SOPs, technical instructions, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety requirements.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manufacturing and production duties.
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to work under production deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and machinery according to approved procedures.
- Prepare production areas, equipment, materials, and tools before manufacturing operations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), production instructions, and approved manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Measure, handle, and prepare raw materials according to established production requirements.
- Perform in-process checks and visual inspections as required.
- Identify and report equipment problems, production abnormalities, contamination risks, or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and other required manufacturing reports.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas and equipment.
- Perform equipment cleaning, changeover, and basic maintenance activities according to procedures.
- Handle pharmaceutical materials and products carefully to prevent contamination, damage, or mix-ups.
- Coordinate with quality control, quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and other production personnel.
- Ensure production activities comply with company safety and quality standards.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
- Assist in meeting daily production targets while maintaining product quality.
- Participate in training and comply with company policies and pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
