Locksmith Welder (Cable Trays)

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of ship structure (optional);
• Ability to work with power tools;
• Ability to read drawings (sense of scale, identification of engineering systems, location of equipment);
• Design and manufacture of non-standard metal products (cable routing brackets, equipment supports, etc.);
• Minimal preparation of angles or strip metal: cutting with an angle grinder, scrubbing with an angle grinder (aluminum or galvanized surface), accurate hole drilling; ability to cut and bend metal cable runs (vertically and horizontally) by bending
• Black metal electrode welding, spot welding (tack welding);
• Stainless steel electrode welding; Metal cutting with gas;
• Leadership skills – ability to lead a team of 2, 4, 6 people (optional); Can read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities:

• Bending and installing cable routes according to the drawing;
• Installation of secondary routes; Electrode welding of cable routing brackets;
• Compliance with established quality standards (Daily reporting on the work carried out;
• Depending on the quality of the work, the possibility of leading a team (2, 4, 6 people).
